thank you red for the quick answer
If your budget doesn't stretch that far, we stayed in the Excalibur for a lot less money. Both are in the middle of the strip and close to the major attractions.

Have you been before? I wouldn't advise staying at Circus Circus or the Stratosphere as they are both a little way out from the main Strip.
I have found that it is usually cheaper for most holidays to book through an internet travel agent,
There are lots of them, but I have found travelrepublic and gtahotels to be pretty competitive.
Just type in hotels+ Las Vegas (or wherever you want to go) and you'll get the comparison sites too.
my friends and I booked for October last year and booked our flights direct through airline and our accommodation direct through the hotel (Mirage). A couple of the girls I was going with had been previously and had decided that was they hotel the really wanted to go to this time and booking it that way definitely came out the best option for us at the time.
book the hotel yourself, go onto the hotel websites and you would be surprised at the deals you can get. Just Google the following hotel's web sites for middle of the road places to stay, as with previous posting dont touch Circus Circus its grotty, Stratosphere is good but too way out try :- Exacilbur, MGM, Luxor [ we had a beautiful room there in the new section],Imperial Palace,Harrahs and compare prices, remember you wont be spending much time in your room its only to get your head down so you dont want to spend a lot .
we stayed at the Hilton...amazing...and more recently one of my family members stayed at the stratophere....good rates there..and the restuarant spins around it takes around an hour but what an amazing view of vegas...takes your breath away...we goin bk this yr too...u will have the time of ur life there!!
