Want a family visit to Florida July 2009. My son-in-law was refused a visa 1997 because had A.B.H. conviction in 1996 (he was 24 at the time). Told to re-apply after 10 years. What are chances of getting accepted this time and if he went on visa waiver & or ELSA would authorities have record of application refusal from 12 years ago? Served 6 months 1996 and has remained out of trouble since.
