This summer I'd like to visit UK.
But I have never been there. I need your help
I will go with several children who are studing English..
We can not speak English well though, I hope to do something special such as riding horse, learning golf. not just sightseeing. We want to absorb their life. I prefer Scotland and wales. I am planing to stay for 10days. It is flexible.
[email protected] this is my e-mail adress. I'm waiting your good suggestions.

To help you we need more information.

Where are you coming from (country) ?

Assuming you are flying in and out, which airport are you flying in and out from ?

How old are the children ?

Where do you hope to stay (hotel, guest house etc) and is it booked yet?
While waiting for your replies, here are some answers:

While the UK may look small on the map it can take quite a while to get around the country, so if you only have 10 days you need to plan it carefully.

Scotland is vary large and much of it is wild open spaces so you need to decide where to stay, Edinburgh and Glasgow are the largest cities in Scotland with plenty to do.

Wales is smaller, but is covered in mountains so it is not easy to get around. Getting from North Wales to South Wales for example is no easy task. The largest city in wales is Cardiff in the South.

You dont mention England (not sure why) but there is also a lot to do in England.

Most people fly in to Heathrow airport in London so you would probably arrive in England (although other airports are available like Manchester and so on).

In fact if you want to go to Scotland and Wales then arriving and departing at Manchester would make more sense.
You say horse riding and learning golf.

Horse riding is very popular in England and almost anywhere you stay will have horse riding available neaby.

We also have lots of golf courses, but learning to play golf is VERY expensive so you may want to consider if that is something you want to do.

I cannot give you any more answers until you answer some of my questions.

Playing golf is much cheaper in Scotland than in England. If you want to get closer to feeling real life in Britain then Scotland is also on the whole a better place to spend your very short time because you are more likely to find people willing to spend time with you. Try to avoid the largest cities wherever you go because they are much more impersonal than smaller towns and it is also likely to be cheaper to stay in smaller towns. If at all possible, allocate more time - but much depends on your preferences. You can get a ticket from your origin to a large number of airports around Britain both with British and non-British airlines, but they are likely to involve going through another airport on the way. Watch out for restrictions on hand baggage if you transit within the European Union (including Britain).
