Quite partial to winter myself.
They do.
Well it's better than dark mornings, or was when I used to have to be in work.

As I mentioned to my woman this morning, we could do with a second home in New Zealand !
Is it not time to do away with this nonsense ?
They don't. They go back at 2 am Sunday.
I know! It happens every year! What a bummer.

Its those horrid afternoons, when its pitch dark at 16:30 that I hate.
I refuse to get up at 2 am to put the clocks back.

Used to like winter, am dreading it this year with me sticks. (they have names, Stop and Go)

When the clocks went forward a sil woke and put her clocks forward, only she didn't realise her husband had been up earlier and put the clocks forward as well

Did hilarity ensue? Sounds like a recipe for a benny hill sketch.
Mate and I turned up to a lunch-cum-tennis invite and got glowering looks - took about a half-an-hour for the host/hostess and their house guests to realise that they were in the wrong, the clocks having gone forward.
jahulaye, they've still not been allowed to forget it a couple of decades on lol

DT, wish they'd stop mucking about with the times x
I'm not bothered by winter time as such, just by winter. The cold and dark appeal to me less and less every year (even last year when it was actually quite mild). I plan to spend much of this one visiting relatives abroad.
I wish they would stop messing it about with it too. Although this one is just correcting it- it would be BST we would lose, I can't see why we really need it though.
I live in a Yorkshire, mainly farming community and they really appreciate and want to keep the time-change. I quite enjoy it as marking the passing of the year. We're not the only ones anyway; France etc. change their clocks, too.
Why does the whole country have to change though? Couldn't they get up an hour earlier?
In Norfolk the clocks go back a decade:-)
Don't mind it at all. Quite like cosy winter evenings in.
I hate it - condemned to needlessly early darkness for 5 months - for no good reason at all.

Total discrimination against us night-owls by the "get up early to enjoy the best part of the day" crew.
twit twooooooo !
It's gone dark early tonight and the clocks haven't moved yet.
