Helen the weather girl this morning BBC kept saying. " Don't forget clocks go back tonight " we will get an extra hour in bed. Not. Only people unfortunately working Sunday morning will have an extra hour.

and i'll have to wait an hour for the pub to open ...
Eh?
Don't lose an hour's sleep worrying about it, bob.
I do find it messes me up for a day whether the clocks go forwards or back.
When I worked shifts for BT, we always shared the extra hour when we were on nights, with the chap coming in the morning, and vice versa in the spring, when the clocks went forward.

I think its about time we stopped faffing around with the clocks altogether !
Eh from me too
I assume malagabob means that people working at 1am tomorrow morning will have to do so twice.
And why is there a single word sentence, "Not." ?
Should it be, "not only people unfortunately, etc"?
I'll enjoy my extra hour in bed and I'm not working tomorrow :)
If you don't have to be up at a set time, you don't really get an extra hour in bed do you? You just wake when you wake and have had the same amount of sleep you would have had if the clocks hadn't changed?!
I'm on an early, so I'm happy.

I remember though when my children were very young that I felt cheated.
You go to bed a bit later thinking you have longer, but you can't reset a toddler.
