Tuesday. It's not raining! It's nippy out though. Well it is October.

Nothing on the oracle for today, at the moment anyway. So if it's nice enough I might have a day out somewhere.

Tiggy's supper is still there, I'll investigate when it's light.

Have a happy day everyone.

10 degrees C?

"Nippy'"?

Tha's nesh, pal!

Nah, when I were a lad, we were't chipping icicles of't insides o' windas in October, sithy.

By November, kids had to dig Guy Fawkes outa snow before they could collect pennies for 'im.

There were't snow over't tops of't roofs in December, with them fancy southern folk holding t'annual 'Ideal Igloo Show' down in London.

Then, come January sithee, winter arrived and it got proper cold!

Morning Chris. It's a bit cooler that that here, or it was a while ago.

All well mate?
The BBC website thinks that it's 10C down your way at the moment (as well as here). The forecast for our two areas is remarkably similar, with temperatures rising to 15C and quite a bit of sunshine today. (Not that I'll see much of it, I suppose, as I'll probably be kipping, as usual!).

Good morning, anyway. All seems to be well here at the moment. (I've not seen one of my cats for a few hours but he'll probably turn up soon. I start to worry if I don't see one of them for just a few minutes; I'm constantly counting them!)

All well with you?
15c, geez, get out the sunblock and your broad brimmed hats or head for cooler climes ;-/

Morning, up there.

Not too bad mate ta.

I'm 280 above sea level, so it's a bit cooler than down in the valley.
You might have written that in jest, 1ozzy but I'm sure that there will be quite a few people on Brighton beach later on. It only needs a hint of sunshine (even in the middle of winter) and people seem to head for the beach there.

Good afternoon to you, anyway.

G'day oz. There is sometimes a difference of 5 degrees between up here and down there.

All well mate?
Question Author
They do that in Southsea too Chris.
>>>I'm 280 above sea level

We've often thought that you'd got your head in the clouds, Boaty ;-)
A very good day to you both.

I have photo's of my father and grandfather sitting on the beach wearing suits with their shoes and socks off on a rather dismal day.

Still happens?
I've had a picnic on Hunstanton beach in February, Boaty. We Brits are hardy - or should that be 'foolhardy'?
Question Author
We've picnicked on the beach in February.

I'm a high flyer Chris! :o}

Mot so much now oz. I remember seeing townies visiting the seaside, sitting in deck chairs, collar and tie on, shoes and socks off and a knotted hankie on their heads.
Mad dogs and Englishmen...............................
Question Author
mot? Not duh!!
Question Author
That's the ones oz! :o}
To show 1ozzy how much we Brits love the seaside, here's a picture I took on Christmas Day 2015:
