There has been many comments of passengers and their own personal weight, do you think it's fair that a person that weighs 20 stone upwards pays the same as a person weighing from 10 stones up to the mentioned weight?

I already gave the only sensible answer.
Yes the charges are fair. I could sit next to you on an aircraft and you have a 23 k suitcase in the hold, while my suitcase weighs 15K and we would be paying the same money.

What do you think the take off weight is calculated by 237?
No you didn't zacs.
there was a lot on the flights that were FAR HEAVIER that myself and my wife

Eat more and fatten up, you'll get much better value for your money
So you don't think someone would sue the airline doc?
The weight of the passengers is done on an average and is calculated per head. Along with cargo, baggage and other factors such as headwinds, length of flight etc, the fuel figures are worked out from that.
Not if it was set out in the tandc's as it is for luggage.
And which airline would be the first to dare to do this?
Probably Ryanair Zac.
Samoa Air apparently but then they only fly little aircraft
Ryanair - 'lose the fat - we'll pay the vat'
Not even Ruinair(sp) would dare to do that.
If their bulk doesn't spill over into my seat it's fair that they pay the same price as I do. If they encroach upon my space, they should pay for two seats and leave me the space I've bought and expected to get.

I do not think this would be classed as discrimination by the Airlines, but it is Discrimition against passengers, and their weight.
Eh?
I've had a lot of flights on the Dreamliner recently. Weight or space isn't a problem.
