nope I am sure that they are really really in need of it and it took all of their energy to stumble through her garage and house - they must have been in so much pain to need it!

thank you for your slobbery kisses peter
You can't stoop much lower than stealing a mobility scooter. Some people really have no morals or compassion!
I don't know how anyone could stoop so low.
What utter barstewards, they want horse whipping!!!

I recently purchased a Mobility Scooter so know exactly what its like to be in need of one.

If I were to write her what I wish on the robbing g*ts I would be banned.
Some people are just scum!

How anyone can be so heartless, low and sick to steal a mobility scooter is beyond me.

I hope those responsible are caught.
What low-life, to make it worse I doubt very much that the thief nicked it for someone else who might need it.
How is your nan coping xx
is there a market for these things?

They might be traceable.
hopefully, what goes around comes around - how is your s/nan?
Yes jno there is a market for mobility scooters. Might be worth looking on Preloved [ I bought mine from a local person via this site]or Facebook sales pages in your area just in case it was stolen to sell on.

dad has managed to get her another one as she is practically housebound without it, but its the fear that they will come back that is the problem
I have some idea of how angry you feel. A few years ago some thieving scum broke into my grandparents' house and took some stuff - including her engagement ring which my grandad had saved up to buy her in 1948. The only real piece of jewellery she wore and she treasured.

Mind you, that was only sentimental rather than affecting her mobility.

I despair at some people.

Can you get CCTV installed or an alarm? Is it worth asked the local Crime Prevention Officer to call round?
I'll bet it's found locally. no consolation to your step-nan. I am sorry. some people are utter sh!ts

I have'nt spoken to dad since this morning so not sure what the police have said
I am so sorry.
I don't know what the world is coming to when someone is so heartless to steal what must be a lifeline to a disabled person.
