A lot of these dead legs moan they have no work, prospects! a while ago Japan suffered the disaster & a lot lost their life's / homes, they are asking for volunteers to help with the clean up, rather than put these pieces of scum in our Prisons at our cost, would it be feasible to send them there to help with the clean up?

I don't know if it would work, but I like the idea.
And who pays for that? Slightly more expensive than keeping them in clink I would think.
Since it's only a few months since HM Prisons were telling us that our prisons were then already full to bursting, it sounds like one alternative.
Have you really thought this through TWR?

To house a prisoner in the UK App £40.000 per year,
What about sending them to Africa to build wells
I have always thought that would be a win win situation
Africa gets free labour we get people back with hopefully a real sense of perspective in their lives
So who pays the for air fare, feeding them, accommodation, clothes, security? Stupid idea.
i like the idea twr - they could send them to clean up at Fukashima!

Why are you so negative in your answers Count? I am not talking about the cost am I. If you have a solution to the problem that the UK have with riots, mention it instead of condemning suggestions.
though I can see where you are coming from I think its unfeasable for cost purposes, the current system where criminals do a society "payback" by cleaning up vandalism and help clear up mess in their local area is more cost effective
I dont know if it would be the case, but wouldn't it be cheaper to accommodate them/ feed them over there? X

Approx £40.000 p/y Roxie to keep in Prison, the likes of these should be sent to a country like Japan that do not Pizz about with H.R. they make sure the persons that commit crimes pay it back with their justice system, what will happen to 1/2 of these? the jails have not got the room, these Pratt's will walking around as hard men /women. Cazzz, with respect to your answer, why arn't they doing that now? It may infringe their H.R. do you think?
How would 40.000 compare to the cost of them living/working in Japan and the likes? X
Question Author
They would not be treated well Roxie, ( Like heroes ) you never know, it might straighten them out.
I watched ( or read it on here) lol about a young man that was a right little trouble maker as a young person, and if it wasn't for a hard consequence of his actions would probably either end up dead or in prison. I think it's about time people did 'suffer' for their crimes, not what they get here, three meals a day etc when there's people outside of prison that couldn't afford that x
Yes you were talking about cost, you even mentioned it in your question!
I wouldn't trust those scummy losers with cleaning up anything .. they've had too much practice doing precisely that here!
They just need locking up immediately .. bypassing the courts would be good.
Kicking out of council houses is another good move .. It will help parents to become more responsible for their offspring .. if they realise plenty is at stake. No bad thing :)
