Downloaded IE9 last night and the browser doesn't seem to display anything but a blank page for every site I visit. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I have Windows 7 64-bit; are there any solutions to fix this or will I just have to wait until Windows provides an update with a fix?

Try disabling your firewall temporarily. if it works then add a rule to permit the IE9 executable access to the internet.

Though you do realise it's a beta release at the moment and as such problems are pretty much expected.

Ah OK, that explains why nothing appears in the browser. Thanks. I read on Download.com that it was officially released but evidently it's not; I'll uninstall it and reinstall when it is.
LOL....

Apologies.... I'm not paying attention fully..

IE9 was released a couple of days ago, it's firefox4 that's in beta, must put brain into gear before answering.

Though the try disabling your firewall part of the answer still stands.
Boy oh boy - just installed the FF4 RC, and it is so fast that it's showing tomorrow's questions here on AB!
FireFox 4 really is superb.
I agree. I stuck the firefox 4 RC on as soon as it come out and it is really rather good.
I am on FireFox, but how can I find out what number it is?
Only real criticism: Tabs are in the wrong (logical) place.
The tab applies to a particular page, so should appear immediately above the page. There's no logical reason that I can see for moving it to above the toolbars (which are, generally, non-page-specific).
They also seem to have removed the little drop down menu from the forward arrow that you could use to go back more than one page at a time, which Is a little annoying as I did use that.

Though being firefox there will no doubt be an add-on shortly to address this (and probably the tab positions)
Oh....

Errr, rojash... right click on a blank part of the toolbar at the top of ff4 and unselect tabs on top :)
Der... should have spotted that (but I looked in options).

But it's still not "right" in that I feel that the tabs (as I said) should appear directly associated with the page. Even after moving them below the toolbars, they now spread across the width of the browser, not the page. So, if you have a sidebar open, the first two tabs appear above the sidebar, not above the page.
