Wish me luck! My 83 year old dad has just bought a laptop after using an Amstrad 128k monochrome PC that is easily 25 years old.

I'm going over tonight to show him a few bits. I personally dont get on with Windows 7, it has an annoying habit of automatically selecting things if your mouse pointer hovers over it too slowly. I know this will do his head in - can it be turned off?

thanks chuck!
Thanks from me too chuck - I have a new Netbook with Windows 7 installed, and that feature has been driving me crazy - you don't have to hover very long before it activates.
The option you need to turn off is called

"Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse"
