I started getting the following message.........

A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?

I've pressed yes a couple of times but the error message keeps appearing, so I've shut down and re-booted the PC. I now cannot get my Outlook Express to open at all, and my IE is virtually at a standstill........help!!

I got exactly the same message craft and aborted the script as you did. My PC is OK, running IE8 like yourself. Strange ! Not had it before either.
I`ve just had it as well...is it something to do with this site.
Maybe it is AB related but I am not very knowledgeable on these matters !

It must be one of the ads on this site.....
We'll call it the AB Flasher ! First time that I have seen such a message come up out of the blue. Duh !
Me too - but it only started this afternoon. It was fine this morning.
The suggested fix on adobes site is to remove and reinstall flash player.

Use the flash removal tool to remove flash
http://download.macro...tall_flash_player.exe

Restart the computer and then go here to reinstall flash
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

(and not ignoring you, I actually had some work to do!)

Thank you Chuck (sorry)...:-(
I've just started getting this message but only when on Answerbank .

(widely reported that Flash 10 doesn't work properly on many Macs and the t0ssers at Adobe haven't done anything about it).
