What do i need to do to convert my USB ports from 1.1 to Usb 2.0 please? .

If you're using a laptop, this was asked and answered well just a little while ago. See "can you upgrade a usb port on a laptop"
If you're using a desktop, you can get a PCI card with USB2 ports on it from lots of places (Maplin, Staples, PC World). They're reasonably cheap to buy and only need a screwdriver to install.
I may be wrong, but I don't believe you can upgrade existing ports to USB2 spec, only add some new faster ones.
