if the tunes are in your library in itunes?
first when you open it up, and it should show your ipod name?
make sure you have unticked the 'sync' box and then you can add manually by right clicking the album or tune, you could even go to edit and select all, left click over the album then drag to the ipod in the left panel, a small disk thing will rotate as the tunes are being added, also a tool bar will appear for the progress, I hope this helps

That didn't work.It is only when I wish to purchase from Itunes like a podcast that I couldn't get it to download onto the Ipod.It was fine on free items so not sure how to do this.It said it was successfully downloaded but didn't transfer to the Ipod.
Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks.
Have yo installed active x with Quicktime Player?
Question Author
No.Iam sorry I don't know what this is and how this would effect me wanting to be able to transfer podcasts bought from Itunes.
If I were you A4me, I would go on line to the Apple site and tell them of the difficulty you are having, I know you have to install active x when viewing videos ect, if you have paid for something they will tell you how to address the problem

Thanks for your help.Thought this would be so easy too! My purchase has downloaded and when I tried again I wasn't charged again as was told this podcast had already been downloaded.
