Hi Probably a simple answer to this one - just bought a netbook and the icons are "fixed" on the left hand side of the screen. On my desktop PC, I can move the icons around willy nilly, but not on the netbook - they just spring back to their original position. Anybody got any ideas ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. FBG40

right click on the desktop, select arrange by and turn off auto arrange
