really sorry to have to ask you "again" chuck, but when I have done everything in Flick, I am having trouble choosing a destintion folder, I get an error maessage saying the Dest, folder cant be the same as...
grateful for your help

click browse down in the bottom right corner and select your desktop and click ok.

once you have burnt the DVD delete the two folders it will have created on the desktop (they can be quite large so you don't really want to leave them hanging about when you've done with them)

so all I would put in the browse bar "desktop"?
at the moment it's got C/usersmy name/documents, I have clicked desktop, but that goes on the end of c/users...scream...lol
all I want is a destination folder, I have decoded what I want in there, went to burn and...ziltch..

ok do it this way...

Close everything so you can see your desktop, right click on the desktop and select new > folder, then type any name you want for the new folder.

Now in DVD flick click browse on the bottom right and scroll down towards the bottom of the list and select the folder you have just created and click OK and then try again.

got them in a folder on my desktop, named, clicked on desktop ,,,,folder already exists,,,blah-blah
I won't pester you with this chick, I will forget the whole ides...lol

Joy,it is important to follow Chuck's instructions to the letter,so click on the link (in red timed 13.11)because I was having the same probs as you & I printed the instructions & then followed them slowly because once I had made an error I kept repeating it( keep starting from scratch) you will get there in the end.Ron.
