laptop keyboard

My laptop keyboard is broken, the problem is how can i type in a password, also will i be able to plug in a different keyboard using the usb socket.

Any help would be grateful

Check on Ebay, do a search for your laptop model and keyboard,you might find a replacement.

Yes, you can use a usb keyboard.

You can use the on screen keyboard. In XP:
Start - all programs - accessories - accessibility - on screen keyboard

Wait
Type in Password

start the computer and login in to the login name and password.

use it .
you can also use the onscreen keyboard from the path
