I can't understand how my new mobile phone is so much smaller than my old one, but with this one I can get photos stored on it and up to a thousand music tracks.....where do they all fit in.?.....
lol Ethel, I don't understand most things actually ....phones, tv, radio, electricity. Although after careful explanation I do now know how a plane flies.
My computer's a constant source of amazement to me! :o)
My cat sits on the bed, by the side of me, with her face about 1 inch from mine, and when I open my eyes it's just full of cat!.......lol. it's so funny...
Pigeons bob their heads to stabilise their visual surroundings. In comparison, we rely more on our eye movements instead of head movements
an experiment was one in the 70's where a pigeon was put on a treadmill so it could walk but it's visual surroundings wouldn't change and it's head didn't bob!
I also think that wireless broadband is amazing. I can sit in the garden and be in touch with the rest of the world, then print stuff on my printer upstairs with no wires AND be on the phone at the same time!! And I really really don't understand how I managed to set it up by myself!!
The cat thing is weird too. I can be in the kitchen ALL day pottering about but the minute I reach for a pouch of food to feed the other cat, he can hear from 2 floors up and comes hurtling down the stairs. I try and be as quiet as possible so she gets a meal in peace, but no psychic psycho cat hears every time.
Planes facinate me and I love flying but it just doesn't make sense to me.
That thing when you know who is ringing you or about to ring you before the number comes up or strange co-incidences when you think of someone for no apparant reason then see them etc....
I always thought pigeons were a bit like string puppets....there are unseen hands controlling them...... :-)
And ALL computer technology.......it keeps getting smaller and smaller....yet the capabilites get bigger...as in danielas phone. The damn things were like bricks only a few years ago. I suspect they would shrink even more were it not for the fact that keypads need to be a useable size.
I agree about the technology. Tonight I shall be watching Strictly Come Dancing whilst instant messaging via Skype with my friends all over the country - we'll all be watching it together, without the bother of having to provide tea and cakes.
:)
My first computer was enormous in size and tiny in capacity. The monitor was also huge with a comparatively small screen.
