mouse pointer

when using a game such as 'flight simulator',the mouse pointer keeps flickering-jumping about etc and i've no idea why it started.when not using the game it's perfectly fine.i have tried the simulator settings,the mouse controller settings in the control panel folder all to no avail.any ideas?thanks.

which games?

couple of things you should do anyway
download and install the latest drivers for your card
same for the latest version of directX

do you have any monitoring software on the desktop such as a bandwidth minitor - CPU Temperature monitor?

the monitors are progs you might have had running - not ones you should run

I do ... and occasionally the flashy cursory thingy strikes.
a quick upgrade gets rid

only other solution i've thought of is throwing whole bloody thing out the window!!! dont they just get you like that sometimes.
