After a little bit of looking it appears that your canon has a 34mm lens so have a look at this, check the diameter of the lens (normally printed on the edge of the lens)

4.6-64.4mm 1 1 8 34
does that mean a 34mm cap

will fit the lens

Yes that's correct a 34mm lens cap will fit.
