I have had 2500mah batteries in my camera and use my camera quite a few times in the week but recently they don't seem to be holding the charge as long as they used to, have had them about 18 months. Is it time to replace them? I thought rechargeables last longer than this. Thanks

'fraid so

nimh batteries are supposedly good for 1000 charges (but they never make that!)
18 months is pretty good considering .... you could try leaving them in the fridge for a couple of months ... but is it really worth it.

Tesco used to do some really good rechargeables ... butmost reputable sellers will give a good price and sell decent jik

Thanks for your reply.Think it is best to go and buy some new ones.
If you haven't already bought replacements, try www.tantronics.co.uk.They have Ansmann maxE batteries which hold their charge much better than normal NiMH,or Uniross Hybrio are similar
