Deleting a file

Can anyone help me please? I am trying to delete a free demo game that I downloaded to my P.C . I am using the add/remove programs option. But all I keep getting is an Error message 'could not load initialization file.' I've also tried uninstalling it but with the same error message. Has anyone any idea what the problem is and how I can delete this now not wanted download.

I don`t know what the problem is exactly, but I did have a similar problem with an mpg movie. I finally deleted it using a free program called "VSHRED" which you can download from cnet.com. Hope this helps

might sound crazy but try reinstalling it. restart you pc. then uninstall it

I agree with Phant: sometimes the installation is incomplete which results in the uninstall not working. If you re-install it then you may be able to unistall it completely.

Thanks very much all of you for your answers. I reinstalled the game and I then managed to delete it successfully. Thanks again for getting me out of a bit of a fix.
