outlook express question

Hi i have to restore outlook settings to a machine at work that had its hard drive formatted. The previous engineer backed up the entire c drive. I need to know where i can find the settings on the backup relating to the settings of the mail accounts and if it would be possible to import these again?

in outlook express go to tools>options click the maintenance tab and there should be a button mid way down called Store Folder. Click this and it will display where all the emails are bieng stored. You will need to copy * backup all these files and reinstate them once rebuilt

outlook is similar (stored (for windows xp and 2000) in c:\documents and settings\$username$\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook as a .pst file. It will have all your e-mail but not the settings like e-mail address, pop/smtp address etc
