I ve been advised, by fellow ABers to download Audacity in order to extract audio from a DVD. Now that I have Audacity how do I extract the aduio from a dvd???

I've been trying with Audacity but can't get the right input from the DVD (even with the system Volume Control and the recording settings) because I have a new PC and soundcard. The last time I did it on my old machine I used MusicMatch Jukebox.

One way to do it with Audacity is to insert the DVD, once it plays press record and use the drop down option "stereo mix" this then saves it (by default) as a WAV File.
