windows xp turns of kind of...........

if i leave my computer inactive for a while it goes to the login screen and i have to type my password in to continue to where i was before, i have windows xp. how do i stop it from doing this?

Right-click a clear area of the desktop and choose properties
Go to the Screen Saver Tab
Uncheck the "On resume, password protect" box
Click OK

On the same page you can also increase the "Wait" time so it takes longer before it does it.


Be aware though that if you leave it too long on the same image it can get burnt into your display so it is good to "screen save" to stop burn out
