What's For Dinner?
26 Answers
We have decided not to go out as it's chuffing cold out there and my neck is playing up, etc.
So we have stuff to bung in the oven - samosas, shish kebabs, bhajis, etc.., with an Epicurean collection of dips and chutneys. We have some lovely wine to accompany.
What's on your menu tonight?

We all had a bad tummy bug when my mother came up for her birthday in early October and I fasted for 60 hours (couldn't possibly eat anyway) and haven't had any IBS symptoms since. I find that a couple of days with nothing but water usually sorts me out.
It's my neck where I have a pinched nerve and I get good and bad days. I did email the hospital I've been referred to chase my appointment but typically they haven't replied.

Not as exotic as yours Lady CG. I'm all prepped to start making macaroni cheese - even braved the cold to fetch a bay leaf from the garden. We'll have it with a few rashers of very good, dry-cured, thick rashers of smoked back bacon from a local butcher's. (He lives in the village so his stuff has to be good or he'd be told!)
That's different, Bobbi. When I was young my mother used to take me to this sort of healthy whole foods café as a treat and I would always have their cheese and carrot crunch in a jacket potato with mushroom sauce on top. It sounds totally weird but I used to love it.
Jourdain, that sounds like the sort of comfort food my husband would love to tuck into any day of the week.
Thanks, Patsy. He loved his holiday in Kos but really hated going to Kids' club. I think that pic was taken on our first night there which went a bit chilly later on. Every evening thereafter was so mild you didn't even need a cardigan at night.
