Was hoping that maybe the Americans might want jurisdictional powers in this case?
Unsure, but fingers crossed.

Yes... hope he's just a day tripper and the us take him over there but doubt his lawyers will allow it
I never got the Beatles tag and think it's just something the press exaggerated.

The press didn’t exaggerate anything.
They got their nickname from their captives because there were 4 of them and they had British accents.
Ah London accents. So the beatles?
Even the sky journalust was unsure_ 'the 4th member was apparantly known as Paul'
Feel free to remain detached from the world as it is.
// I never got the Beatles tag //
you dont get much do you?
The Beatles were 1) English ( no you dope not the delightful mop-heads from the sixties, the captors in Araby)
and they beat the captives
beatles yeah? ( beat )

"when they were around, there was always someone screaming and people being hit". Some of their fellow captors complained to el jefe - el qa'id - they were too brutal

They arent very civilised out there ( er noticed?) and a lot of countries and wanna-be countries ( Kurdistan) are claiming jurisdiction. Like taking them out and shooting them. That is pretty jurisdictional and talk about final judgement! The trials were taking about 30m and 90% convicted, they were then shot

So the Beatles ( who were wordless and abusive to their captors) suddenly started talking and going places and asking to be deported

Hence his arrival

London wasn’t mentioned, hence ‘British accents’. I doubt the average American’s ability to discern between regional accents?

To make it easy for you, imagine it was a group of Brits captured and tortured by Americans in a similar situation.
They(the captors) might have been dubbed The Beach Boys as they’d have had other things on their mind than to note a Los Angeles tone or Kentuckian drawl?
Do you understand now?
yeah if it not an essex accent
the London hacks dont get it
come on fatticus
Bobo is being bobbish and fooling around with you

London accents so they come from Liverpool? Jesus
No it wouldnt be Beach Boys
Grateful Dead - or stone roses

remember the Americans dont do Irony - see Trump and weaponisation of the FBI. HE was the one who asked Scumby or someone - are you my man? Scumby said no
name spread is pretty common
esp if it is a good name

when wire rim glasses were fashionable
we had a few Dr Crippens walking around
( saves having to wait for shifts, instantly usable)

oh just on, Beeb - he was deported from Turkey
'Aine Davis a 38 year old Londoner.'...in fact the others were londonderrs too. The article gives real names of 'john' (from West london) George Ringo and mentions a possible Paul who was less involved... but don't say which Beatle Aine was...Stuart Sutcliffe?
But good news his been caught ....do we eally want him here though...we don't seem to want shemina begum
Perhaps he'll be extradited once he's done his time here. Let's hope so.
Yes, hopefully they get a ticket to ride across the pond.
double jeopardy ( or autrefois convict - oh-ta-foyz akwit) is an issue so he cant be prosecuted er for whatever he was convicted of in Turkey ( seven years)

AMerica has to indict for a crime which is so far unprosecuted AND is a crime here

Authorities NOT overjoyed he is here, oh and before you ask, he only has one nationality
