The one day I saw him enter the bathroom on her own, when I peeped round the door to see what she was doing, guess what? She had jumped into the bath and stooped directly over the plug hole having a pee.
I saw her doing it many times even though we had a litter tray. But what really got me was every time she was always directly over the plug whole.
How on earth did she know that was the right place? could it have been some sort of sent coming from the waste pipe?

If we move anything, it's as if the cat has had a shock. This is followed by a slow check of the new situation. A sniff here and there.
If the new layout allows her to get inside that is essential.
Yesterday I left an empty microwave oven box on the floor. It had a handhold cutout she could look through, and she did. The box was physically pushed until we opened the top. She got in, and sat down and waited a while. Satisfied, she got out and wandered off. It's as if she gave her permission for the change.
