I am thinking of buying a All In One DVD/VCR player and what I am wanting to know is are they a good buy or a bad buy.

not sure pricewise but have had a Samsung combined several years with no problems

have you considered a "Dual" recorder that has the facility to record from VHS to DVD ? Could be useful when you want to keep some of your old VHS Tapes ?
