We’ve got another 111 days (minimum) exactly like today to go as the kids don’t return to school until September, boy #2 doesn’t start sixth form until September and I can’t see boy #1 returning to his ambulance placement until September either.

This morning was rather pleasant for me.

I sat in a nice big comfy armchair, reading a decent book while friendly and attentive young ladies offered me umpteen mugs of coffee, fed me lots of nice biscuits and checked that various pillows were perfectly positioned for my comfort.

Hang on a minute though. I think that the rest of my life must be getting really, really boring when I actually find myself looking forward to my next chemotherapy session!
