Virgin media have just announced that they are going to increase my monthly payment by £3.

I have limited broadband and unlimited (first one hour) telephone calls, for this I will be paying £39 per month.

I have no evidence about Talktalk, but I've heard they they are reasonably priced.

Our monthly payment is also going up by £3 (virginmedia) - loved (she says sarcastically) the blurb in the letter saying that the rise is due to them increasing their investment (sic)

They also should try investing in more call operators, have you tried getting in touch with them recently?

Thank you I will give it a try next week.
Called Virgin about this and told them I was not happy. They reduced my monthly bill by £15.
AOG, I gave up trying to call virginmedia years ago :-D

HC, thanks, will also have a look at that.

Danny, I'll do that before I look at switching. Good idea !!
I've also had a letter...an increase of £2.50. I've got no extras, just telephone weekends and evenings plus broadband.
I'll try calling them this week too.

Good luck ;)
I would avoid talk talk.

They have had two hacks in to their system where personal details of hundreds of thousands of their customers have been sold to scammers.

This has resulted in many talk talk subscribers being rung up by people "pretending" to be Talk Talk offering a refund only to get your bank details and scam you.
