Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. Clear sky but cold this morning.

Up to the hospice this morning, then lunch out again. :o}

I went up to the farm to get some spuds and honey. The spuds were in and bagged, but the honey is still in the hives, I don't think there will be so much this year. I'll go up again in a couple of weeks.

The only reason I'm awake this early is that my son is living here at the moment and he gets up at 6.00. - he's a teacher. My OH gets up to make him a cup of tea before he goes and so we all have one!

Good morning Minty - heavy frost here last night

not too bad ta.think mum has turned a wee corner...had a nice day out in town with her yesterday, went in on bus in order to encourage her to walk a bit...had a look in a few shops and she bought trousers and a top with a gift voucher I had given her, then we went to a wee Italian for lunch before bus home at 4pm....and she did all that without a mention of dad or any tears ! progress....sis really doing her head in now although she said that there had been some talk of booking flight home ....

ah Margo what a nice mum and dad you must be..and a husband who knows where the kitchen is..AND how to make a cuppa...such a treasure !

Three excellent Scotches last night post dinner, a Tomintoul, a Tomatin and a Lagavulin.....

Smacks lips in delight - the first cup is always the best! We call him the boomerang kid because he just keeps coming back. He couldn't afford to carry on living in London oh his teachers pay - his share of the rent was £600 a month before anything else.

how on earth are todays younger generation expected to get on the property ladder when rents are so high...I am so grateful to be mortgage free !
