The apps grid
Now that google have finally forced it on me, i have to make more clicks to get where I want.
I used it once in beta and didnt like it
Why cant they just leave things that work alone and at least give us a GUI customisation option if we dont want it.

I was more than happy with a horizontal menu on the page easy to see and access
Time to kick google into touch, if I wanted to use a (rap browser like Chrome then i would have done but I dont.

one of their selling points has always been an uncluttered homepage; quicker to load. As they've now got lots of apps, they're put them all together off page. Tragic that it means an extra click or two but it's swings and roundabouts.

hence "give us a GUI customisation option" so that the apps we use can be quickly accessed and the ones we dont can be consigned to the black hole of useless apps
Judging by the shape of the new apps window I think it is aimed at people with smartphones and tablets.

With more and more people using Google on smartphones and tablets they can no longer design it JUST for users with large screens on PCs and laptops.

If I can redesign my clients site so theyre responsive and have collapsible stacking menus I find it hard to believe google cant.

They obviously havent learnt any lessons from the revolt against windows 8 gui having everything hidden
