Actually I am furious
I have just found out that the overtime I have been doing since march will be unpaid and I have to take flexi instead
I would not mind if I could take my holidays when I wanted but I have to take them to suit other people's childcate needs
Other people who are on 3x the salary I am

When we worked extra hours we always had one day a week off in every month.
it never ever worked out any other way. Oh poor ole you x

Basically both my line managers are not working in my dep anymore
One on long term sick (yeah right) and the other promoted leaving me the only one in the department
I am doing their jobs at a fraction of their salaries and cannot even chose how to reimbursed

Is there something in your contract about overtime? Can you talk to your manager and said you did it on the understanding it would be paid as you dont actually want more time off, and see if the situation can be resolved?
