1995 Doesnt Seem That Long Ago!!

I am currently recruiting for a new team at our work.
I have just seen an application for a young man D.O.B 1995....
1995 I think to myself, he is a kid...... Oh hang on he is 18 years old.
I was in High school in 1995, it just doesnt seem that long ago and yet he is applying for work!

I still feel 17 inside etc. etc.

It feels weird to me that my cousin will be 20 this year, it feels like yesterday that he was born and stuff, I feel old at the age I am and that isn't very old :/

Time seems to get warped as you get older. I've recently watched two editions of 'Last of the Summer Wine' on Yesterday, which I would have thought were made within a year or two of each other. But a cup of tea in the café was charged at 30p in one episode, whereas 42p bought 3 teas and 3 buns in the other episode (which, clearly, must have been much older).

I often forget my partner is only 22.
I met up with my "little" cousin last week - even he is 2 years older then my girlfriend!

My niece lives just up the road from us and I often see her youngest daughter (25) pushing her baby son up the street to visit his nan. It only seems a year ago when they were running up and down the road driving us "oldies" mad.

Have you noticed thaere's a point when someone asks you how old you are and you can't reply immmediately you have to work it out from your date of birth?
