Can anyone please explain why, every other day I have to up date the Adobe Reader?

Because adobe reader is crap!

Foxit reader is a much smaller footprint reader that loads a lot faster than adobe.

Uninstall adobe reader and install foxit instead.

^^ Fully agree re Foxit vs Adobe.

And the latest version of Adobe (last time I checked) no longer supports MDI so, if you need to view more than one PDF document, you need to open multiple instances of Adobe Reader - very poor...
