What is wrong with this site? ...............

Just lately, it's taking twice as long to load a page than eBay!
Must be a server or code problem surely.
I don't think the issue is Gravatar loading avatars.
Anyone else getting really slow progress at end of page loads?

I noticed that earlier albags, after I had typed my post nothing showed and then as if a ghost was posting each letter and word started emerging, eerie!

I love Firefox because of the custom design changes you can do to it, and the add-ons. I reckon they are both as fast as each other when I tried Chrome.

I JUST tried a refresh on this page .. 20 secs.
Ebay My Ebay .. loads of things watched ... 3 secs.
Cache issue maybe .. will investigate further.
