How long has he been using the service and what contract did he sign up for? The terms and conditions don't look good:

6.2 Subject to the terms in Section 6.7 below, your subscription will continue automatically at the fee rate applicable to the Service, which you have selected unless terminated by eMusic or until you notify eMusic of your decision to cancel your subscription to the Service. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL ANY TRIAL PERIOD (DESCRIBED AT 6.3 BELOW) WHICH APPLIES, THEN ON EXPIRY OF IT YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SUBSCRIBED TO EMUSIC. Annual or two-year subscriptions cannot be cancelled until the end of the annual or two-year subscription period. You may, at any time during your annual subscription period, set your account to cancel, or select another monthly, quarterly or annual subscription plan into which to renew, effective at the end of your then current plan

You may terminate this Agreement by providing us with written notice of your termination and ceasing to use Service. Upon the effective date of any such termination, your right to use the Service shall immediately cease.

If your son is not yet 18 it should be cancelled straight away without penalty

Many thanks Ethel, looks like he is in the proverbial **** as usual. He is over 18 and looks like it`s going to cost him money for nothing. Honestly....flipping kids.
Hopefully this will be a very valuable lesson for him.

:)
