I agree there were few moments during first half where I didn't know if it was going to be worth watching. It is only after watching whole of 1st episode that you can see plot laid out and then get the 'OH WOW!' moment. Think it is going to be brilliant!
LB. I like black comedies, didn't know it was supposed to be, I was just a bit confused, but it still fascinates me and will watch it all. Very good actors in it for sure.
Thought it totally unrealistic, in lots of areas. Stuck it until the end thinking it's got to get better - it didn't. Won't bother with the rest. Agree on paper it was a very good cast, let down by the writing.
Its a bit early days for it at the moment I thought. It left more questions than answers, but Im sure more will be revealed as the episodes pan out.
When she went to visit her husband laid out in the mortuary , on her visit the second time, did anyone else notice him blink?
I did wonder if I was missing the point of it when I found it all so unrealistic. Who answers the door to a stranger and lets them in when they say they are a business partner, and who walks round with £1,000 in their handbag?
The appearance of Nigel Havers and Joanna Lumley, made it worse, both very poor actors, but maybe that does point to it being more of a black comedy than I had anticipated.
I will give it another go, but only because there isnt much else in the way of new drama.
I wasn’t sure at first but glad I stuck with it. One thing I wondered - why doesn’t she want the police to see the CCTV? It would exonerate her, wouldn’t it?
Is her MIL Bridget Jones’s mother?
