Does anyone know if PayPal is down ?
I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

hija says people here are renting out their hallways for people to sleeping, of course it's highly illegal. Just off to see how many beds I can get on patio, 20 at least.
I don't know if they still do, but they used to close the Lake District in summer if too many tourists arrived.
It's been hot here this afternoon but we don't get grockles in this area...popular parts of the Peak District grind to a halt sometimes though, especially Bank Holidays.

My hair thinned a bit after I had to give up the hrt. I'm using John Frieda volumising squirt.
lol Neti, bung em in the pool. I have installed my sixth waterbutt today.
the hospital says my eyes are okay, just old age that bits are flaking off (while the rest of my body is refusing to lose anything at all), but monitor the situation. I had drops to dilate my pupils around 1pm and my vision's still a bit hazy.

The car is pretty nearly dead, however. The garage man said he could fix it but it would cost more than the car is worth, so we'll bury it under the patio when we get it back.

The we went to the local outlet mall to search for shoes. Hunted through about 10 shops but found only two in the whole place I liked, both in Skerchers. Unfortunately neither of them had a pair :-( I suppose that's the trouble with outlet malls, they just bung stuff onto the shelves and let the public spend the day disarranging everything.

Then we went to have dinner in Wahaca but it turned out to be Cabana, so my informant at least got the vowels right and the hemisphere right.
Good job it wasn't Wahanda, might have been a totally different experience!

Oh those drops are horrible Jno .They let me go out of the hospital in the dark after having my eyes dilated .Had I known they were going to do that I wouldn't have gone there on my own .
I was alright getting on the bus as it's all lit up in the hospital grounds but I nearly missed my stop and then I couldn't get across the road .I have to negotiate a busy roundabout and the lights of the cars were most confusing. Luckily a nice young man took pity on me and saw me across and then it's just a short walk and he walked me to the door. I couldn't even see my phone properly to call Mr S.
At least you got a dinner ...more than we did on todays outing ..lol.

Ooh the world might be a blur but you have fabulously sexy eyes for a few hours. I got a taxi home, I didn't want some old dear at the bus stop thinking I was excited to see him :)
nothing sexy about falling face-down into a gutter you couldn't see. (This didn't happen, but very nearly outside the hospital; I'm surprised they don't have special nets there to catch patients.) They said it would be okay to travel home as long as I wasn't driving, but it was like wearing someone else's glasses the whole way.

Goodnight all.
Good morning. I stayed up on patio last night to se the perseides shower. Saw 2 shooting stars and that was its
:-(
Hope you are all ok.
Where is Jno, away again?
er, neti, look up. Jno's right there. ^ ^
getting worried about her now she's a shadow of her former self

Morning, dull and humid, batten down the hatches, the rains are coming...so they say. .
The thing is jno, I got out of the hospital ok (the writing on the signs was about a metre high) but I did a 'face plant', as Tarquin would say, when my eyes were clear. Shaney's right, abandon all hope.

Better move before the monsoon season starts.

now everyone's gone invisible...or at least the avatars have
it's just the cyst speaking, Robinia, I'm not offended. The avatars all look okay now.
ah yes, you're all back in glorious technicolour now.

No rain yet but very grey skies which is a shame, we've got 4 spitfires due to fly over this afternoon, about 4.25.
Good morning Biddyfriends. Managed to find you today. I'm on the mend but still haven't any energy or great appetite yet. Patience Jude! My Dr. Is coming again on Monday after giving me more Antibiotics til then. He says it will take me 3 months to get back to Normal again. Thanks for wishing me well.
