Very nice idea to have paella,good choice.
We are having one of Mrs dg,s special steak pies,made with thick brown crust.
This will be washed down,with a couple of glasses of real ale.

I have duck in the fridge that I have to use today. not sure what to do with it though.. rice and summat!

Duck sounds lovely sara. Why not roast it? The duck juices make fabulous roast potatoes.

if you can spare 4 or 5 hours of doing nothing - this recipe is great! Tastes just like the chinese duck - and very very crispy!

calzone is like an inside-out pizza.. folded in half, crust on the outside and "toppings" trapped in the middle.

Mmmm seafood paella is an absolute favourite, with calamari No Mercy? I am preparing a rack of lamb. When I say preparing I mean opening the box! I'm on my (l)ownsome for lunch today. I'd much rather the paella washed down with a glass of Sancerre.

Am doing chicken fajitas. If I want a paella I get the Lidl bag of paella from the frozen cabinet. Plenty of it for two people and very tasty with a good variety of ingredients.

Actually... I do cheat. I buy the kit from Carrefour, but do always put fresh fish and seafood in. :-)

Roast beef, roast and cream potatoes, carrots,turnip, sprouts and yorkshire pudds and smooth meaty gravy, the beef is done to perfection with me getting up so early, I popped into the slow cooker, the house smells delicious

Not doing dinner today. Had my Burns night haggis party last night was cancelled in January because of bad weather. So at the moment I have a lovely headache and eating a dish of trifle.
