Hope all our NI members are safe and sound. Friend's daughter and her friends in Belfast to see the Titanic exhibition - closed as roof has blown off.  Another disaster! Their flight was also delayed for 2 hours.

Unfortunately its normal for our flights to be delayed these days.

Its the second time in 8 months that the partial roof has been damaged in the wind.

Thank you - I was watching the weather forecast with interest - it was all about Scotland and England West coasts getting pummeled but nothing about NI (again)

Its seems the BBC forgets we are here most of the time (somebody will come along now and say - they mention it when I watch it)

In fairness I had heard about the Titanic centre on the BBC, and they had folk from Banbridge on the other day talking about the changes to NI as in National Insurance - subtitles might have been an idea, although it was radio so ...

I meant BBC weather

I haven't found that personally, but I no longer live there so maybe I notice it more when it comes up

They mention Northern Ireland when I watch the weather forecast.  Here's the current one from the BBC.

I WATCHED 5 broadcasts over the weeked and noticed that Northern Ireland was only mentioned once which considering we had a yellow weather warning and were being advised not to travel.

The spent more time telling us how warm Norfolk was going to be

Whenever I watch the BBC weather they always seem to mention Scotland and Northern Ireland weather in the same breath especially when it is seriously carp with high winds or yellow flood warnings. Apparently it was the Irish Met office that named the latest storm Kathleen.Only the second time a storm was named beginning with K.
