Odd Phone Calls.

Since yesterday I have had four calls from an 01228 etc number. I believe it is the Carlisle area.
They never leave a message, and when I answer, without speaking, there is silence at their end, although someone is obviously on the other end.
It doesn’t scare me, but it does bother me.
I thought I was signed up for the ‘call barring organisation’ but that was some years ago.
Any thoughts?

Try googling the number.

You will probably be directed to a site that says who is calling, and it might identify if it is a cold calling outfit.

It’s the latest number being used to try and sell you a call barring service (I know, love the irony!). Had 4 missed calls on my home phone from them, Googled the number and it only seems to have appeared in the last day or so!
