England have beaten India in the Test match by 7 wickets, they chased down 377 runs with both J Root and J Bairstow scoring hundreds. Magnificent what?.

A stunning performance - from the whole team - winning 4 in a row by chasing increasingly improbable totals is pretty special.
Absolutely loved this on TMS, looking forward to the highlights later ...

We managed to draw the series that was started last year under a different captain and coach!
There was a thread about spoilers a week ago. It's still there.
Why would a spoiler thread need removing? Genuinely interested/curious.

If sunny-dave had posted that in the OP, it would appear on the category page:

https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Sport/

And then anybody reading that page may see the result when they didn't want to. Avoiding putting the result in the OP, and putting it in the first answer, is more ... friendly.

If a spoiler is posted and remains around for a week or more, there's little point it being deleted then. Unless it's for something like a film at the cinema, when even a week later people may not have seen it.
Thanks Ellipsis. I did know what a spoiler is. I was mixing up a thread about spoilers and a spoiler thread. If you know what I mean, lol.
Amazing how unshackled a lot of top players become again after relinquishing the captaincy.
Root is back on a different level, stratospheric even.
