No 7 - each of them played test cricket for a country other than his country of birth and died in a different country. For example, Jardine was born in India, played for England and died in Switzerland. Bob Woolmer was also born in India, played for England but died in the West Indies.

Can't help with the answer to no 4 but I can say it's not Arundel Castle. This ground has been used for County Championship (ie first-class) matches in the recent past. Certainly in the 1990s.

Re: Chanderpaul. This may well be the answer they're looking for, but it's not quite accurate. He did top score in the seven innings in which he batted, but there was an innings where he didn't bat, so strictly speaking it wasn't seven consecutive innings. Pedant? Of course. Why else would I even be attempting this quiz?
Oh and the Noble/Macartney question has a couple of other statistical oddities: Macartney's runs scored in NSW's only innings (72) minus Noble's runs conceded in the match (53) = 19 and vice versa (68 & 49). And in the second innings, Noble conceded the same number of runs as Macartney took wickets (six).
Having read the answer already given, though, I imagine that is the one they're looking for. Thanks for that.
