Whats all the shouting about and the uncontrollable excitement, England have taken 55 years to win a football match against a German side, is that really that great? I don't think so. Plus what do we actually get from this? within a couple of weeks after its all done and dusted, it will be forgotten. The players involved will just be showered with even more of a gross weekly/ monthly wage along with their manager. So what will you get from it, if anything.

Ab Editor 12:18 "a little joy", precisely, there is your BA TC if you have an ounce of guts.

Good example, they relyied on Beckham for years to score the goals.
TC//but if you place the the ball say one foot in front of the hole the chances are, I will get it in//
I can think of one or two holes where chances are that you wouldn't.
TBF normally it's canary who blows me away with the cheer range of his ignorance but on this occasion TC you get the prize. Gawd what a sour puss you must be.

Why would I need guts to give a best answer? My point is stop relying on one player to get the job done, because otherwise they will continue to have difficulties.
did you even watch it or were you sat in a field of cow sheet on a chemical khazi?
TC: "Good example, they relyied on Beckham for years to score the goals." - gawd elp us, Beckham was never a striker love!
I'm not a football fan, but am an England fan. I was in the garden, but knew what the score was by the cheers and airhorns going off :-)
Beckham was midfield and a set piece man.
TC: "England have taken 55 years to win a football match against a German side," - once again breath taking ignorance, we last beat Germany in 2016. This is a win in a knock out stage of a tournament and those are rare occasions the last chance to do that was in 1990, so please try and not demonstrate your total lack of understanding so publicly, it makes you look very silly.
Burnley hadn't beaten Blackburn Rovers for something like 30 odd years. Then on the 9th March 2014, we did, giving me a belated 59th birthday pressie! The mood of the whole town changed for quite some time. People walked with a spring in their step; smiles were seen on even the most dour of faces. That's the power of getting the better of your Nemesis.
Teacake at 13.02. That wasn’t your point though. Have you forgotten what you said in your OP?

Your so quick and on the ball naomi, should be in the team.
My knowledge of Football is minimal love, I prefer Rugby, but compared to you I'm an expert. We last beat Germany in 2016 BTW.
Question Author
I'm impressed!!
Believe me, it will not be forgotten.

Anyone wanting a big wedding must be spitting blood after watching all that kissing and hugging during and after the game.
//Not that I'm that interested, but you know what I think is wrong with most England teams that we've had. We tend to have just one so called star, at the most two//

What a stupid comment! Name a team with 11 memorable players, eg Portugal, can the person-in-the-street name anyone other than the odious Ronaldo?
It never fails to amaze me how there is always a certain sort of person the the UK who likes to sneer at home success in any sport! What do you want them to do, apologise to you for upsetting you by winning? Cheer up, they may lose on Saturday!
