A brilliant game - wonderful physical effort by the Japanese team (as expected) - but also some brilliant open play from them too.

A well deserved victory for the host nation - greeted with admiration by the locals here in Kerry who appreciated the skill and determination shown

Japan just played with a lot of tempo and managed to keep it up through out the game. After first 20 mins think Ireland just sat back a bit and got caught out.

nothing in the Site Rules about spoilers. Anyway it's not like it's on Sky and people have to wait for the highlight show. How long are we to wait before discussing sports events? The sport section is pretty quiet as it is. When can i discuss today's football results for example.

TTT, there's nothing to stop you discussing the match, any match, but it's convention not to give away the result in the title, opening post. Sunny-dave's post (this one) is a good example.

My post still survives, that is probably the end of it lol. But I will do the same with F1 highlights, avoid any news, or any threads relating to it. If I had recorded Rugby I would be doing the same.

great game ,when the Japanese player ran with the ball at the end I was willing him on .just great rugby .
