It’s terrible.
I agree that it is sad, but her benefit was stopped in error - one phone call would have sorted it out.
Awful.
It's sad on every level, that a clerical error could drive someone to this and also the pride that stops people talking about things.
Such a tragic loss of life.
Such a sad story.
Too many ABers in the past have shown an indifference to severe poverty.
Why didn't God lend a helping hand.
That's an interesting reply, nothing to say about the lady or the error that lead to her loss of pension - just a swipe at other members.

It makes me glad that I taught my children never to stay silent if in trouble but to reach out for help - pride is admirable but can be dangerous.

This is a tragedy but as has already been said, it could have been rectified by a single 'phone call to the DWP.

There has been an investigation into the sequence of events and that will have identified who did what and when at each stage of the process.

It is a terrible outcome to what was the result of human error but the report shows that steps are being taken to ensure it is not repeated.
That's all good then. X
