....is underway. Weather forecasts suggests a serious storm or two in the next 48 hrs could disrupt matters.
Hopefully a European can bring some of that Ryder Cup spirit to the greens and fairways as Rose, Westwood, Poulter and Donald need to fulfil Major ambitions.
But most predict Tiger will be the man come Sunday, as do I.

The background bird twittering is real. I can hear it in our garden today and I always know its Masters weekend when i hear it.

My birds are chaffinches, singing their hearts out. Not sure if they are the same birds in USA but they sound very similar.

So now we know. See? Quicker than the Alliss method. But the writer of it did play at the Gog Magog, that fine old golf Varsity course outside Cambridge. Old Reg Cox was the pro there for many years, after he left Blackpool North Shore. Fred Puli won the long-handicap cup there one year....
