What a Sugar game, the only exciting FA cup final I can think of in the last 20 years or so was the Liverpool/West Ham 3-3 thriller

Commiserations to stokemav. I thought Tony and the boys were really going to do it today. Just fell short.
I didn't watch but I was hoping that stokemaveric would get the result he wanted, he was sooo thrilled when they made the final. Sorry stoke
Oh, no !!

Aah, well. Hopefully Stokey had a good day out.

If I was Stokey, I'd make a weekend of it. Hop on a train to the south coast, and then go home tomorrow.
a Sugar final, but a profitable one............sorry Stokie

17/10 on Man city was too good to refuse.
lol, Mick. Ruthless!
Hard luck, Stokie :( I was rooting for Stoke.
Rooted for you Stokey, hope you had a good day out neverthelss.

At least you were there mate, more that can be said of all the other teams.
Not a classic, but the more silverware heading to Manchester the better.
Joeluke... do you remeber the Yawn-o-thon... Liverpool against Man United back in 96.
I only caught the second half of Man City's day of Money.. but well done to them.

I also wanted Stoke to win though :-/

Yeah that 96 game was so tedious

City may have pots of cash but they are not good to watch
The best Cup finals I can recall were 1979 (the last 15 minutes) 1987,1988, because the underdogs won ,though the game was rubbish, and the one you mentioned.
Most of the others have been dull because the "Big boys" have been involved and cancel each other out.

What does a "sugar game" mean? :-S
